On December 8th 2023, we marked the inaugural celebration of World VFX Day. This special day was dedicated to honoring the remarkable accomplishments and contributions of the visual effects community to the realm of entertainment and beyond.
The primary goal was to shine a spotlight on the skills and artistry involved in crafting visual effects for filmmaking, emphasizing their pivotal role in the storytelling process. This global observance sought to center stage the visual effects industry, allowing us to appreciate how it enables filmmakers to bring stories to life in ways that transcend imagination.
‘No vfx’ is a phenomenon known as invisible vfx—executed with such meticulous precision that the line between footage and computer-generated imagery becomes indistinguishable.
